Grandma you was and is amazing, you taught me so much from how to carry myself to how to cook. Granma you encouraged us to go and do whatever we wanted in life and support us though out. I can’t say that you had favourite but you had favourite on different situations! I know I was the favourite when it came to going to Brixton or going for walks or just doing your daily exercise. I will miss you so much and know you’re looking down on me watching me.

Daniella’s tribute G is for great. R is for respectable. A is for admirable. N is for nurturing . D is for divine. M is for magnificent. And A is for adoring. All of these 7 words describe who my grandma was through my eyes. She was a beautiful and just a wonderful woman to be around. I am extremely grateful to God that he had chosen her to be my Grandmother. I am glad that she was able to watch me from when I was a new born baby in the hospital bed. I am glad that while she was on this earth, she was able to teach me things like making Jollof rice and teaching me about my culture and where I come from. One of my favourite memories of her was when I was little. My grandma would come to stay over at my house. She would come into the room and sit on a chair in front of me, take off her head dress and allow me to take down her hair. And then afterwards, I would be able to have creative control over her hair in whatever way I liked. She never complained and always had a smile on her face at the end (even if the hair didn’t turn out as amazing as I imagined it to be). I am eternally thankful that she was in my life and I will miss her and love her always.
